Spring 2019, The History Troupe presents ‘Eva’:

  1. A period piece set in 1911, a play for the community. Venues to be announced.

  2. For Schools. An immersive, walk-through study exploration of JB Priestley’s classic, mid-20th century play ‘An Inspector Calls’.

Located in the atmospheric location of the ABP Pump House, we invite learners and their teachers to enter the world of JB Priestley; walking through the environment of his trench experiences, exploring the inspirations in his writing room and considering the historical, cultural and political contexts from which his writing grew.

Performed by professional actors and written by our team of historians and senior education professionals, performances of short scenes combine with discussions led by actors in role; affording students the chance to question, explore and internalise the key themes and issues presented in Priestley’s classic text.

Just remember Eva is watching you…
